We support the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq and Afghanistan in an effective and responsible manner.  We encourage greater support to countries in the Middle East undergoing democratic transformation and encourage the building of stronger bonds with Muslim-majority countries and peoples around the world.  We commended the Administration in its success in combating Al-Qaeda and disrupting extremist networks.  However, we are opposed to the increasing use of armed drones because of the high likelihood of innocent victims.  We encourage diplomatic solutions over military action whenever possible, including with Iran, and an equitable solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
